This is an eye-wateringly wonderful tour taking in the man-made beauty of Amritsar and the stunning high Himalaya of Ladakh.

Day 1
Arrive in Delhi.
You'll be met at the airport by a member of the Wow team and taken to your hotel. There's time for sight-seeing or resting.
Day 2
Sight-seeing in Delhi
See the sights of Delhi, one of the most exciting cities in the world. You can be guided by a Wow representative or we'll leave you to explore Jama Masjid, The Red Fort, Humayan's Tomb and Qutb Minar on your own.
Day 3
Delhi to Amritsar
We travel in style today, taking the early morning Shatabdi Express train to Amritsar. We breakfast on the train as we watch Haryana and the Punjab roll past the window. Visit the Golden Temple in the afternoon.
Day 4
Amritsar
Particularly for the photographers amongst the group, it's an early start to capture the beauty of the Golden Temple at dawn. After breakfast, you're free to wander round Amritsar. We'll meet for lunch and then have a safety briefing and get used to the motorbikes, with a ride to Wagah to see the border ceremony at sunset.
Day 5
Amritsar to Dharamsala
Getting to know your bike more thoroughly as we ride through the plains of the Punjab into the mountains staying the night in Dharamsala, home of the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan Government in Exile.
Day 6
Dharamsala to Manali
The roads become twisty as we go further into the Himalayan foothills. We stop for lunch in Mandi before heading along the gorgeous Beas River valley to Manali, the mountain sports mecca of Himachal Pradesh.
Day 7
Manali
Manali's a great place for shopping, relaxing and the last place for good coffee. We can also arrange for some adventure activity such as white-water rafting, ballooning or zorbing. These activities aren't included in our price.
Day 8
Manali to Keylong
This could be the most challenging day of the trip as we set off early to tackle the Rohtang Pass. As we head down towards Keylong, we're in the monsoon shadow and the land becomes more arid. It's like being on another planet.
Day 9
Keylong
Keylong (3156 m) is a great place to relax, but don't get too comfortable as it's a good idea to trek up to one of the beautiful Tibetan gompas to help with acclimatisation.
Day 10
Keylong to Sarchu
Today we start the climb to the Tanglang La pass, crossing the Baralacha La (4890 m) and spending the night at a luxury camp at Sarchu (4290 m).
Day 11
Sarchu to Leh
Another early start to cross the dizzying Lachlung La (5065 m) and Tanglang La (5359 m), arguably the second highest motorable pass in the world, before the sun melts the ice and the run-off floods the road. The scenery is breath-taking. It feels like an achievement to ride through the bustling streets of Leh and you'll be ready for a rest.
Day 12
Leh
If you're feeling energetic, get up early and take a bike to witness a service at Spituk Gompa and enjoy the views of the Indus from the roof. To stretch your legs, wander up to Leh Palace and the nearby gompas. We need your passports today to organise the permits for Nubra.
Day 13
Leh to Hundar
Today we head to the Nubra valley, over the highest motorable pass in the world, the Khardung La (5602 m). We spend the night at the oasis of Hundar.
Day 14
Hundar to Leh
On our way back to Leh, we stop to see some mountain camels before making our way back over the Khardung La.
Day 15
Leh
Another day to enjoy Leh. Take it easy.
Day 16
Lamayuru
More amazing scenery as we head along the Kargil road to Lamayuru and spend the night in the monastery.
Day 17
Lamayuru to Leh

Day 19
Tso Kar to Jispa
The secenery becomes less arid as we wind our way to the picturesque village of Jispa, where we spend the night.
Day 20
Jispa to Manali
This is the last day on the bikes so make the most of it as the roads snake through the alpine scenery and back over the Rohtang Pass.
