Contract
As soon as you book a place on a tour you are entering into a contract with Wow Bike Tours, subject to the following terms and conditions.
Payment
Your payment is held in a client account and fully protected until the tour has completed. We need your deposit (£500 per person) within a week of your booking. We need the balance two months before the start of the tour. We accept Bank Drafts and cheques.
Risk
You take part in one of our tours understanding that motorcycling is a potentially dangerous activity and that you do so entirely at your own risk. Wow Bike Tours accept no liability for the death, injury , illness or loss of or damage to possessions of anyone on our tours. That said, your safety is paramount and we'll do our utmost to keep you out of harms way.
Insurance
Your travel insurance needs to cover you for motorcycle touring, cancellation, delays, medical cover, repatriation, general liability and damage to or loss of luggage and personal belongings. We recommend Navigator Travel. There's a £200 deposit on the bikes, returnable at the end of the tour.
Conduct
If we feel that a guest's behaviour is putting themselves or others at risk they will be removed from the tour and no refund will be given. We see ourselves as motorcyle ambassadors and ask that our guests be courteous to our staff, other guests and members of the public.
Documentation
Before you join the tour we need to see your full Motorcycle Licence, International Driving Permit and your travel insurance certificate and schedule.
Innoculations
See your GP or arrange an appointment with The Hospital for Tropical Diseases to discuss your needs. Please allow plenty of time before the tour to do have your jabs.
The Bikes
For the duration of the tour, we provide each rider with a 500cc Royal Enfield motorbike, the perfect vehicle for tackling the tough Himalayan roads and from which to view the stunning scenery. Unfortunately for you, we'll want the bike back at the end of the tour.
Problems during the tour
If the itinerary of the tour is affected by acts of God (landslides, terrible weather etc) we'll do our best to work out a suitable alternative. We won't offer refunds in this situation.
If we cancel
If we cancel the tour, you get all your money back. We only cancel in exceptional circumstances.
If we amend
If we change the dates of the tour, you have the option of your money back or of joining the amended tour. If we amend the content of the trip, then we'll give you the option of a full refund. If we have to amend the content of the tour, we'll make sure it will be done in such a way that the excitement of the original tour is maintained. We'll only amend dates or modify the content of the tour in exceptional circumstances.
If you cancel
If you cancel 2 months prior to the tour, you lose your deposit. If you cancel less that two months prior to the tour, you lose all fees paid. We need your cancellation in writing.
